Hi rich I bought a similar shock. Not the exact same but 32mm tubes. Now it’s a couple inches shorter than the original but says same length as the ones you are using the 628mm length. Same as the ones you are using The 26” are taller on aliexpress Are the ones you used shorter than original
Did you buy the Bolany 20x4 fork or another brand like Bucklos?
Actually looked again and yours is 675mm and the one I have is 628mm I think when I first looked it was some glitch and ended up with something very similar I think the same shock but 628mm. I’m not sure what happened but that is a big difference in size
Is the air shock really better? If so, can you briefly explain? Just curious.
Yes, it really has air in the fork. You can see the install in the video linked and how to put air in the fork with a shock pump to change the pressure. ua-cam.com/video/dq3sseWgXOw/v-deo.html
Thanks bro, just got my bike yesterday🎉
Congrats and enjoy
Je compte mettre des pneus route sur mon jansno's bike les cst bft sont pas de bonne qualité sous la pluie ( je suis tombé) Et le style du vélo en pneu route ressort mieux 👍👍
Yes plan to change tires in 200-300 km
How fast does it go
With 36V battery and stock motor gets 18-19mph (1-2 mph faster than stock batteries) and with 48V gets 23 mph
Yes 💪👍👍
Its great riding bike now
Wow!! You saved me a bundle, then... I was thinking to pick up a 650 and an upgrade kit. But now, I'll grab a 500 and do it. So, thx much!! You are very knowledgeable. Appreciate that!! ✌️
Good call and have fun
Do you know how heavy your door was? Having problems finding the right strut for mine.
The door is about 30 lbs. I had to reposition the 24” struts 3 times to get the lift correct
@@BRichSolution Same. Just ordered the 100 lbs struts. My door is almost 40 pounds
因為你橘色椅子不需要這麽長嘛,多的部份可以改裝車架
Ok
Nice. Plan on doing this to my x50 as well
It took some trial and error to figure out but in the end it is a big improvement in ride. Hope this video helps other x50 and x70 owners out
Go for it! Big improvement on the ride and front fork stability
Yeah the fork on mine is terrible. The stanchions move back and forth when braking and releasing and when hitting bumps.
Nice. I ordered a new rear air shock for my Ridstar Q 20 Pro AWD . I think the factory one is Fake just filling in the gap, like riding on a piece of wood. Hopeful this helps!!
Ya factory shocks are a joke
just added new front and rear suspension to my H20, handlebars, seat, stem, stickers lol she's like a new bike!
Is the H20 steel frame or aluminum? Check with magnet to confirm
Just got scammed trying to buy of these. And my facebook continues to advertise it to me from the seller that just scammed me. Waiting 48 hours for my money. Pretty not cool
What website or seller scammed you?
Never seen those steerer tube extenders before. I was going to buy a +45 degree stem to make up some of the lost height, but that extender might be a better idea
Good feedback- I think 45 degree stem might work but stem extender is probably cheaper option. The other option is small stem and taller BMX style handlebars
Hello, I’m new to the e-bike scene and was looking to purchase a bike, I like features from 3 that you have done reviews on. The ouzo v8 ,Tombobyke v20 and emoji , which would you recommend for light off road and mainly street or dirt road and an all around bike for the price range of these e-bikes . Enjoy your videos . Thank you for your time ..Mark
If you need a cargo rack on the back the Ouxi v8 is really only choice but it has no rear suspension. Tamobyke v20 is okay but there are better buys out there for the money such as Jansno x50, Amyet G60 and Ridstar Q20 with 20Ah battery
I like the bikes you mentioned , how Would the Emoko c91 compare to the e-bikes you mentioned.
you lost be cause my tubes are opposite. the left lever is short
The tubes can slide up and height can be adjusted
Does the 2000watt 20ah setup go the full 20 miles as it would for the 1800 watt motor?
Yes it will go 20 miles
can i have one
Sure but with shipping cheaper to buy on amazon
Just bought 1 please help charging battery's both batteries on red yes for charge now 1 green and 1 red first charge please help do I need both to go green
You can ride with batteries partially charged
All of your videos on the Ouxi v8 have been helpful but I'm worried that the battery may burn out fairly quick since it is a random Chinese brand and I've seen reviews that say theirs stopped working in 2 weeks. Can I switch out the battery completely if this happens?
Stock battery still going g string on mine after a year. The battery is common size and easy to source replacement on Amazon or Aliexpress
I just passed 500miles on my v20! I commute it 16 miles daily to work, and it's such a thrill to shred! I got a nice cover for it when i park it at work, so no rain damage!
Great feedback and congrats
Does this model auto reset back to the 25kmh (15mph) setting if u hold the minus and the power button together?
No, holding + and - button saves settings that you adjusted
@@BRichSolution I mean the right power button and the minus button. I have a v20 pro and on my model it resets it to 25km/h, same display same buttons
How could I add a cargo rack anyone?
Linked below is the only option I have seen for full suspension biles this style. s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mKJm0j2
i can’t wait to get mine but i have to work for it by mowing lawns im so enticed to get it
Keep up the hard work its worth it
Can you do a review for Ridstar FM-001 please? This bike to me is good for a city ebike and it has 2 seats that can carry 2 passengers. Thanks
The back seat in FM-001 is for a child or small adult. Are you ok with that?
@@BRichSolution I have just made an order, dont have it now but i am quite small (120 pound, 5feet4). My wife is also same as me 😆
Nope there on sale for 999$ right now.
$999 is great price
What is the size of the tyre??
Front is 16x2 and the rear is 10x2.5
how did u get your basket on there?
Zip tie or screw milk crate to stock cargo rack
Do you know the nut size for the front axle? I have m10s but they screw on a little then get stuck
Sorry I don’t but M10 sounds right maybe the tread pitch is different
@@BRichSolution didn't think of that cheers for the quick response mate!
I can't get my bike out of pedal assist
Throttle does not work?
And how long can the battery last
21ah does long time i did ride yesterday for 15 miles and battery was on 2-3 bars
What’s the app that can connect to it
Fardriver app
Question for you. I'm looking at the Ridstar bikes on the Canadian Amazon site. I want the Q20 but the H20 would honestly be more practical for me. Then, I saw another one called the DC26. It 's a foldable similar to the H20. It has 26" wheels and a 1500W motor with 2000W peak - maybe. The specs are all over the place in the listing. This model is not on the Ridstar site. There are no reviews except for a couple very short promo type videos on UA-cam that don't tell me anything. A Google search just turned up the UA-cam promo videos. Is this a new model? That extra power would be great for me. I live in a small town on top of a very big hill. The city that has all the shopping is down below. I'll be going up and down a large hill a lot. The dual motor bikes are out of my price range. This DC26 is just a couple hundred Canadian $ more than the Q20. I could swing that. I just don't want to have to return something like this if the specs are incorrect. I'm not sure about the 26" wheels. I'm 5'10 but that sounds huge. Have you heard of this thing?
Don’t get a fold e-bike unless you have to. The battery connection are prone to issues, battery size is small, folding frame heavy because of the hinge. 26” ebikes are heavy and too large to store. Get the Q20 or H20
Looking into purchasing my first ebike mainly to use at the racetrack as a way to get around much quicker and conveniently. I've seen a wide variety of bikes and scooters that people use to get around so it's definitely peaked my interest. My main concern is how do these bikes do on steep inclines? I'm worried that they don't have sufficient juice and now I'm stuck with an 80lb bike walking uphill.
If you live in hilly area look at Amyet G60 or Ridstar Q20 with 20ah battery both have torquey motors
Is this the 15ah ridstar
No the 20ah version do not but 15ah version the $100 saving not worth all the concession made
For the cheaper ridstar it has a different fork do you know how to use a different fork because that fork is not compatible with my ridstar. Great video though!
Is the cheaper 15ah risstar q20 have fork like the one in this video with the ouxi? See link for video ua-cam.com/video/mbCBl9HIH3M/v-deo.html
This Ebike is only good if ur over 6 foot. Also it’s to Big in person
I am only 5’8” and its okay. My wife rides it without issue and she is 5’4”
Do you have any idea where to source the bigger battery?
Add an extra battery for $200 is much cheaper option see video in link below. ua-cam.com/video/C9oxU4dBkbA/v-deo.html after the factory battery gets old then upgrade to 25 or 30 ah battery linked here amzn.to/4cePDRM
Should I buy the ridstar 15 ah or the amyet
Do not buy 15ah version of Q20. The $100 savings is not worth it. Buy 20ah version of q20 or Amyet G60
my brake didnt come connected to the bike how do i connect it
The wire for motor kill or brake cable?
does the 15ah one have a lower seat too on which i could fit on?
No 15ah is same frame, no hydraulic brakes, smaller battery, smaller screen its not worth the $100 savings over 20ah version. Ridstar q20 has one of the lowered seats at 29-30” only thing lower is Engwe M20 is 26” seat height See link to Engwe m20 on sale amzn.to/45Je07W
@@BRichSolution does the 15ah and 20ah have the same level seat
Wondering if there are any like this style in a good size for a Ridstar. I’m guessing these would be a little too big?
The pedal linked below are great as they are nylon no metal so very forgiving and scrap on the ground. I have these on 3 ebikes now See link below amzn.to/3VUeKDO
@@BRichSolution ok great so they aren’t too wide then compared to the stock ones I was just looking at these because I would like extra grip Thanks for the tips Much appreciated
Do you have any pros and cons videos for specifically the ridstar q20 and the jensno x50. Those are my two im boiling down to
Q20 with 20ah battery is 2-3 mph faster then Jansno x50. Both good bikes buy do bot but the 15Ah version of Q20
Very good video - I am used to racing bikes and this is exactly what I was looking for, for my large tired eBike. Thanks,
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks all I was looking for, now I can change the suspension, do they send you one bc mine came like broken and I didn’t even realize
Upgraded suspension is big comfort upgrade
I love that paint scheme...wish they had It for the 5....but I still love my 5. Nice ride!!!
Ya, had to go with 6 to get paint scheme I wanted
I just couldn't go another 200 more for the 6😅😅
Hey ! I love your videos , I’ve owned my ridstar for over a year now and love it. But I was doing some work on replacing my throttle to a full twist. Got everything connected but get an error code 008, I know it’s a throttle error but do you know how to work around it?
Throttles have different frequencies so you need to match the frequency from the stock throttle
@@BRichSolution gotcha thank you for the help! I’ll check what the factor one is and go from there
Thinking of getting this bike because of your videos!! but just wondering does the back fender come off easy if I wanted to mod it ?
Yes back vendor held on with 2 bolts
Would u recommend buying the new ouxi v8 max dual battery with the battery under the seat on Amazon? It currently only has reviews and I can’t find videos anywhere
Yea, ouxi v8 max would be a great bike with dual batteries and hydraulic brakes. I would go for for it as good price on Amazon currently see link amzn.to/3XDD65Z
hi im 5ft do you think my feet can reach the ground or shuld i tippy toe
Yes at 5feet you will be okay on ridstar q20 has one of the lowest seats for this style ebike
@@BRichSolution thanks but on Amazon it says recommended height is 5’4
